An exchange programme partnered with Social Gifting (Singapore) and Baba Lab (Japan) sponsored by SUSS-Nunchi Marine Age Well Programme, was led by 27 SUSS undergraduates to better understand how the youths empower older persons in Japan, a country that is currently facing a super-ageing population growth.
Both Singapore and Japan are currently facing similar rapid ageing population and this one-week exchange programme held from 7 to 13 March 2023 provided insightful learning opportunities.
