Last Saturday, we attended the Paddle as One event in Northeast, which brought together over 3,500 participants across 64 teams of varying abilities, ages, and backgrounds, including individuals with special needs and children from low-income families.
It was heartwarming to see the largest inclusive dragon boat race in action, and as a longstanding supporter and donor of the Singapore Dragon Boat Association, we felt immense pride to be part of such a meaningful event.
The day culminated with a send-off ceremony for our national team, who are gearing up to compete in the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) World Dragon Boat Racing Championships in Germany. We wish them the very best in their upcoming competition!
