At 82, Madam Rosalind Koh defies conventional expectations of aging. Her days are filled with dance classes, teaching sessions, and even cheerleading practices, embodying a vibrant and active lifestyle that redefines what ageing can look like.
This spirit of active ageing was celebrated at The 13th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards, an event graced by Senior Minister of State, Mr Kiat How Tan. The ceremony not only recognised outstanding achievements in eldercare but also marked the official launch of the LION (Lifecourse in Online Narrative) initiative.
LION, an initiative that is supported by the SUSS-Nunchi Marine Age Well Programme, aims to strengthen community support, preserve cherished memories, and foster intergenerational connections by enabling individuals to share their personal narratives.
As we look to the future of ageing, initiatives like LION and stories like Madam Koh’s are a step toward reimagining that journey, where every story matters, every voice is heard, and every generation is connected
